Practical 3D Printing - Shop-vac Tool Adapter | [0034]

I needed an adapter to allow my small shop-vac to connect to my miter saw. I couldn’t find an existing adapter, so I decided to fire up Fusion 360 and model my own to 3D print.

In this video I walk through how I modeled the adapter in Fusion 360 from the perspective of a Fusion beginner (i.e. me). The idea isn’t to be an absolute authority, or show the best or only way to model something in Fusion. Rather it’s to show that even with basic knowledge of the software you can fumble your way to a useful, functional part.

While I encourage you to try to design your own adapter, if you think you may find the one I modeled useful, you can download the STL here.
