More than one story of creators losing footage due to hard drive failure this month inspired me to talk about the process and methods I use to keep my footage safe.

This isn’t a definitive guide, it’s not the only way to do things. My hope is that, creator or not, this inspires you to look at your own process (or lack of) to ensure that it mitigates loss as much as possible.
