Hacking a Soap Dispenser | [0041] 🧼
GOJO, maker of soap dispensers, soaps, and the popular hand sanitizer Purell, limits what soaps/sanitizer cartridges you can use in their dispensers by tagging the cartridges with RFID tags. However, the dispensers use an easily re-programmable ATTiny48 microcontroller. In this video I show how, using code made available by Zapta on GitHub, you can easily hack these dispensers to use any cartridge you want.
For some reason in the video I kept calling the GitHub repository owner “Za-pa” when it’s clearly “zap-ta.” Apologies to Zapta.
